The drum chip resets the Xerox photoconductor imaging drum unit. This allows you to re-use it for another lifetime.

This chip is for these printer models.

The print quality is usually still good when the drum reaches the end of its 60,000 page rated life. You can replace the chip and use it again. The drum unit locks out when the page limit is reached.

We send specific instructions for fitting - it simply fits in place of the original one in the plastic holder. We supply the chip only (photos of chip holder are for reference).

The Starter Drum is missing the chip and plastic holder. You must also order the Drum Chip Holder which is sold separately.
