We send instructions for fitting - it fits in place of the original one on the outside of the cartridge. You can also convert the low yield cartridge to high yield with this chip.

Please note you also need the correct toner powder for use with this model. This is the chip only but the toner bottle is available at TonerTopUp. The cartridge must be full of toner when you install the new chip or it will be useless.
