The drum chip resets the Samsung photoconductor imaging drum unit. This allows you to re-use it for another lifetime.

The print quality is usually still good when the drum reaches the end of its 60,000 page rated life. You can replace the chip and use it again. The drum unit locks out when the page limit is reached.

We send instructions for fitting. This is a small RFID chip with no circuit. You remove the original chip, peel off the tape and stick it in place.
